Grey mare Alem is member of the Sere line. She was born in 2004 on a private stud farm in Austria. Her father Elbek came from Dagestan, but was only ever at stud in Austria. He has sired horses of good quality, among which are one Champion of Europe – mare Durana and gold sire Abebe.

Mother of Alem - grey mare Akira – was foaled in Turkmenistan. She belongs to the Peren line and is the granddaughter of the Champion of breed - Polotli. She comes of interesting parentage that is fairly typical for Turkmen horses - a cross of the Peren and Karlovach lines.
